West Side Pet Hospital was started in 1970 by Dr. Richard Mahrenholz. The original clinic was on Franklin Street where Franklin Street Tavern currently resides. In 1985 we moved to our current location at the corner of Diamond Avenue and Mesker Park Drive. In January of 2001 Dr. Mahrenholz retired and Dr. Mark Messal purchased the clinic. We are one of the few clinics in the area that are locally and privately owned. We strive to give your pet personalized care and treat them like the family member they are.
